I've said before on my social media accounts that I love working with the same families, multiple times, over the space of a few years. It allows me to see their kids grow, their families bloom, and to grow a friendship outside of our photo sessions. That relationship as a photographer allows me to tailor my future sessions specifically to the clients.

Over the years I've gathered a handful of very, very loyal clients who choose me over any other photographer, and they do it year after year. Family milestone after family milestone. I'm so grateful to those families. You know who you are.

I mentioned in an earlier post that I was able to upgrade to pro gear recently and I've been saving up money from photoshoots for a long time to do that. Those families who have chosen me time and again are the ones who have helped me grow my business the most. They suggest me to their friends and family. They share my business page, images, and help me get my business name out there. Then they keep coming back to me for more images.

The family in the cover photo is a prime example. Their first session with me was a maternity session for their oldest little girl. They have since done two family sessions, another maternity session, and recently a milestone session with their youngest daughter. I've been allowed to capture all of those moments for their family. It's a huge deal as a photographer for someone to choose you to take their family's photos. I'm excited every time I get to work with a new family, but to be chosen time after time is a whole other level of loyalty. Thank you to all of my very loyal clients. You guys make my business better and allow me to keep doing what I love and what makes me smile!

If you have a friend who owns a small business, the best, free ways you can help them are by liking, sharing, and interacting with their page. Don't just look at the posts, admire and keep scrolling. Drop a like, share, and leave a short comment. This helps so much to make the page more viewable. Talk your friend's business and/or products up to your friends and family. Be a fan of their work.
