WELCOME

I'm Dani,

I am a Kansas City Metro photographer, based in the Smithville Lake Area in Smithville, MO. I work primarily with families, High School Seniors, and couples to capture the most memorable times of your life. I also occasionally offer seasonal mini sessions.

When you book a session with me, know that I will do everything possible to put you at ease. My job is to create an atmosphere in which you and your family can have fun and make memories together while I capture them.

I'm so glad you found me! Whether a previous client suggested me to you (my clients are the very best), you stumbled upon my site, or you were diligently searching for a photographer to fit your needs in every way. I'm honored. I could go into great detail telling you about myself and why I became a photographer. I could tell you details of my life, down to what kind of coffee I like to drink, but you didn't come here for that.

Truth be told, you’re here because you are trying to find a photographer to take photos that capture sweet moments, who will deliver on what they promise, and is easy to work with. And really, that’s what I want for you too! I’m passionate about what I do and I would love to make every photoshoot as fun and joyful as possible for everyone involved. Let me take the stress out of this for you. If you book me, your photos will be beautiful, and everyone involved will have fun. Let's capture your reason to smile!

My Philosophy

Photography should be FUN

Too often I hear clients say that their children, senior, husband, or they themselves don't like to be photographed, won't sit still, or are impatient being in the spotlight. I pride myself on making each and every session fun, active, and enjoyable for every member of the family. We will smile, yes, but we will also laugh, play, and make some memories. I will capture your "good-side" but I also aim to capture a bit of your personality and love for each other.
